DIY Dollar Tree Inspired Candlelight Calla Lily Centerpieces

THESE DIY DOLLAR TREE INSPIRED CANDLELIGHT CALLA LILY CENTERPIECES WILL ILLUMINATE YOUR EVENT!

Hi guys! 

If you are looking for simple centerpieces that are inexpensive, elegant, and beautiful, these Candlelight Calla Lily Centerpieces are just what you need. This week’s project is super cool because we are actually the inspiration!  I know right, we are the inspiration for our own inspiration!  In this tutorial, we will be combining 2 of our previous projects to create this Dollar Tree Inspired Candlelight Vase Centerpiece! So lets get started!

SUPPLIES:

9 in. Glass Cylinder Vases
7.25 in. Glass Cylinder Vases
Smooth Glass Hurricane Candleholders, 4 in.
Clear Glass Accent Gems, 10 oz. Bags (optional)
Luminessence Unscented Floating Candles, 2-ct. Packs
Floral Hydration Clear Gel Beads, 11.4 oz. Jars
Glass Cylinder Vase – Large 
Rosa Elect Double-Face Satin Ribbon – 5/8” 
Navy Double-Face Satin Ribbon – 7/8” 
Silver Double-Face Satin Ribbon – 1 1/2” 
Crystal Filler
Elegant Glossy Polished Pearl Beads for Vase Fillers ( Silver)
Ivory Elegant Glossy Polished Pearl Beads for Vase Fillers
Assorted Plastic Bead Pearls Navy 
10pcs Calla Lily Artificial Flowers 
Artificial Butterfly Orchid Flower

How To Make Candlelight Calla Lily Centerpieces

Directions:

STEP 1: We will be using 4 vases for this project, 3 of which can be purchased at the Dollar Tree.  1- 9 inch Cylinder Vase, 1-7.25 inch Cylinder Vase, 1- 4 inch Smooth glass Hurricane Candleholder, and 1- 12 inch Glass Cylinder Vase.   Layer and attach 1 1/2 inch Sliver Satin Ribbon, 7/8 inch Navy Satin Ribbon, and 5/8 inch Fuchsia Satin Ribbon.  To add interest you can attach the ribbon to different parts of the vase.  

Let’s Create Our Floating Pearl Effect

STEP 2: Use the 4 inch Votive Holder and the 9 inch Cylinder Vase.  Add alternate layers of Floral Hydration Clear Gel Beads and Polished Pearl Beads in Navy, Ivory and Silver.  Fill the vase with water leaving 1 inch from the rim for the candle.  Add the Floating Candle.  

Now For the Other Option

STEP 3:  For this we will use the 7.25 inch Cylinder Vase and the 12 inch Cylinder Vase.  Fill the vase a little less than half with Crystal Vase Filler.  Add 1- Butterfly Orchid to the 7.25 inch Cylinder Vase and 3- Calla Lilies and up to 5- Butterfly Orchids to the 12 inch Vase.  

Final Step! For a special touch set the vases on 12 inch Round Mirror to create a lovely reflection off of the the candlelight!
