VIDEO TUTORIAL

Directions:

STEP 1: As used in many of our other projects, we will create our Infamous $2 Dollar Tree Vase. Simply, turn your candle holder upside down, apply a liberal amount of E6000 glue and then sit your 9 inch vase on top. Let this dry overnight before moving on to the next steps!

It’s now the next day, your completed 2 Piece vase should now be 1 piece. We are ready to go to the next step.

TIP: Before going to STEP 2, check your vase and make sure it is securely in place. You can also sit a dictionary on top of the vase to help it adhere if you not want it to sit overnight.

STEP 2: We will begin by connecting the foam to your vase. This process is super easy and will only take a few minutes.

Simply, flip your vase over, and place it on top of your round foam. Now take a foam cutter and trace around the vase. Sit your vase down and cut about ½ an inch deep in your foam, you will notice when finished it’s in the shape of a circle and you will have grooves in your foam. Now sit your foam ball on top of your vase.

TIP: For a secure hold apply E6000 to the grooves, once you have decided placement.

STEP 3: Add your 5ft Hot Pink Rose Garland (Wisteria) to your foam. Hot glue the tips of the stem once you decide placement.

STEP 4: Let’s make our chandelier pieces. Take your iridescent pearl trim, measure how long you would like it to be and cut. Now wrap your floral wire around the tip of a paintbrush, cut it, and then bend. Attach jewel piece to your pearl trim.

STEP 5: Cut another piece of floral wire using your finger to measure, cut it and bend it in a U shape. You will now use this as a hook, wrap it around your chandelier piece and insert into your foam ball.

STEP 6: Add hot glue to your pink carnation flowers, roses, and hydrangeas and then insert into foam ball.

STEP 7: Measure the base of your vase with satin ribbon and pearl trim where your candleholder and vase meet. Cut your ribbon and pearl trim, add hot glue, and wrap around bottom of the vase. Lastly, glue your hot pink rose.

STEP 8: THE FINAL STEP

Add your accent piece!

Take your fish bowl and measure your pearl trim around the rim. Cut your trim, hot glue it to your fish bowl, and now glue your rose to your fish bowl. Sit it next to your vase and you now have a 2-piece centerpiece that looks like 1 piece.

I absolutely love how this birthday centerpiece turned out. Lisa, thank you so much for allowing us to be apart of your special celebration!
